All of Fat Boy Natural BBQ’s products contain a "best by" date. The USDA states that a "best by" date is used as a guideline for a product to be on the shelf before purchase. It is in no way an expiration date. According to the USDA most products are safe to consume long after the "best by" date has passed. All Fat Boy Natural BBQ products have a "best by" date of three years after packaging. Any products that are "short dated" are sold at a discount and the date is stated in the listing when purchasing the product.

Absolutely my favorite rub for chicken, pork butts and brisket. It penetrates well and isn’t overly sweet or spicy but does let you know that the meat is even better with a nice bark left at the end. I’ve tried lots of rubs, but this one hands down has been a long time favorite of mine.

Really only wanted the 14oz container, but it was unavailable. I do use this rub on nearly ALL my pork products, so we’ll definitely use it. Just wish it wasn’t such a big package.
